Mel Gibson has some questions to answer
Thursday, November 27, 2008 -
Mel Gibson must answer questions about the planning and filming of “The Passion of the Christ” in response to a screenwriter’s lawsuit, The Huffington Post reports. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory Alarcon ordered Gibson to appear for a deposition by mid-Janaury. Screenwriter Benedict Fitzgerald claims he was underpaid for his work on “Passion.” His attorneys say Gibson’s lavish spending - including a $78,000 chiropractor bill - came out of the writer’s cut. Gibson’s attorneys want to keep their client from having to answer questions about the blockbuster film.
