That Showtime’s “Brotherhood,” starring the hunky Jason Clarke, Jason Isaacs, Annabeth Gish and Boston homey Kevin Chapman, will start shooting its third season in Providence on Monday.

And that Sports Illustrated baseball scribe Tom Verducci ranks Fenway Park [map] as his numero uno sports venue in the latest issue. “(Fenway) has a unique personality that’s organic, a natural triumph of architecture and sense of place,” waxes the writer. “It is not tricked up or forced. The years have given it even great import as a connection to the game’s history.” Besides, Verducci says, it’s one of the last ballparks where you can see a game where fans of yesteryear saw Babe Ruth play.”
