Pistorius wins gold in 200 meters at Paralympics

BEIJING - Double-amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius of South Africa won his second gold medal at the Paralympic Games on Saturday, while American swimmer Erin Popovich missed a chance to finish with six golds.

Pistorius, who runs on carbon-fiber blades, won the 200 meters in 21.67 seconds. He pulled away down the stretch, defeating Jim Bob Bizzell of the United States by nearly a second.
