Officials expect Tropical Storm Hanna’s visit to be a breeze

By Benjamin Bell
Friday, September 5, 2008 -

Tropical Storm Hanna is set to hit the Bay State Saturday evening, bringing with it rain and wind, but it should not cause any major problems for the Hub, according to the National Weather Service.

“We are not looking at any widespread problems. It is also a fast-moving storm, so that is a good thing,” said Charlie Foley of the National Weather Service. “Also, September has been pretty dry, so we can absorb a good amount of rain without any problems.”
