New Bedford man convicted of murder

NEW BEDFORD - A reputed member of a New Bedford gang has been found guilty of murdering another man following an argument.

Wayne Miranda was convicted on Wednesday of second-degree murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm for shooting 25-year-old Christopher Barros in October 2005.
