James Albert of 8 Henry St. in Amesbury was arrested Tuesday for larceny after allegedly stealing five bottles of shampoo, worth $70.75, from the CVS at 2 Center Plaza, police report.

The suspect was arrested by an officer on scene after he attempted to leave the store without paying for the merchandise, police report.
