How inspirational

By Kevin McNamara
Monday, September 1, 2008 -

As a gay Catholic I have a few problems with Joe Fitzgerald’s column, but with that being said I find so much humanity in the people who visit that address. It warms the heart to hear about people’s triumphs over tragedy and insurmountable obstacles. It shows how resilient the soul really is and how compassion and understanding can make a person’s load a little easier.

I have been reading that column for so long and I only hope that as I start to write my own point of view professionally (at 50 years old), his would be the closest example of what I would like my own to sound like. So, thank you Joe.
