Dorothy T. (Vargas) Chiozzi of Medford, a homemaker, died Monday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was 84.

Born in Cambridge, Mrs. Chiozzi lived there for 23 years. She spent the rest of her life in Medford.
