EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. - Two hospital emergency rooms were quarantined when eight chemical plant workers sought treatment after being sickened by a chemical spill.
Authorities said the illness was caused by exposure to the highly toxic chemical nitroaniline after a barrel of it was dropped at a Ro-Corp. plant.
