Lufthansa mulls bid for Austrian Airlines stake

FRANKFURT, Germany - Deutsche Lufthansa AG has made a nonbinding offer for a stake in rival Austrian Airlines, a Lufthansa spokesman said today.

The deadline for nonbinding offers was Sunday, Lufthansa spokesman Andreas Bartels said, but did not provide further financial or other details.
