Here’s a playlist of all-night adventures
The all-nighter movie is a cinematic favorite. Sometimes, as in “Nick & Norah’s Ultimate Playlist,” the break of dawn brings a happy ending. In others, not so much. If you’re in the mood to catch more long-lasting fantasy - or nightmare - dates, check these out:
“After Hours” (1985): Martin Scorsese’s long, dark night of the soul is a comic descent into Hades, perfectly embodied in mid-’80s downtown Manhattan. Griffin Dunne stars as a man whose simple evening devolves into hilarious disaster. Note: Always hang onto your money when taking a cab.
