Kinnear roles out ’78 Ford lawsuit

In a movie season rich with based-on-real-life characters, Greg Kinnear feels he’s gotten as close as possible to Bob Kearns, the underdog inventor whose story is told in “Flash of Genius.”

“You know what? Some license is taken,” Kinnear said, echoing his sentiment from when he played murdered “Hogan’s Heroes” star Bob Crane in 2002’s “Auto Focus.”
