September 6th, 2008 Obama accomplishments? The other night Governor Sarah Palin stated that Presidential candidate Barack Obama had no legislative accomplishments. After reviewing his record it looks like she was right. Barack claims sponsoring and co-sponsoring many pieces of legislation at both the state and federal level as his accomplished deeds. However, sponsoring legislation takes no special talent. For example, any person in the state of Massachusetts can sponsor a piece of legislation via their State Senator or State Representative. Moreover, sponsoring a bill does not mean it was passed into law. As far as I can tell the bills he supported did not become law. The Obama official website touts Barack as being a sponsor of the Senate ethics bill which I think is funny. He did originally support it, but ending up voting against it because he did not want to go against the Democratic leadership in the Senate. Can any one name a real Obama accomplishments? I am not looking for his positions or good speeches. What bills has he passed? As a United States Senator what has he done for our country?

September 4th, 2008 What to expect tonight.. Tonight Senator John McCain will finally take center stage. Unlike Barack Obama, McCain will limit his partisan punches and will ultimately appear more Presidential. The former POW and Republican nominee will use his time to outline his positive agenda for the country. However, it will not be a fantasy-land speech. McCain will not promise everything to everybody. In other words you can expect “straight talk.” Moreover, Senator will be more humble in his presentation. He has not built a temple for his backdrop. Many reporters are speculating that the Palin performance will over shadow McCain. It is highly doubtful that will happen, but as we all know her introduction into this race did over shadow the Democratic ticket’s performances. On another matter tune into WGBH at 7pm to catch the Lone Republican.

September 3rd, 2008 An American Margaret Thatcher in the making!!! Tonight we witnessed not only the coming out party for Governor Sarah Palin, but also witnessed the beginning steps for our own future Margaret Thatcher (0nly better looking). Sarah did not just nail this speech, but she hit it into the stratosphere!!! I had the privilege of watching this historic speech with the Federation of Republican Women and I cannot begin to describe how proud and delighted the women in the room were. One woman holding her 8-month-old baby began to shed tears over the moment. Sarah Palin answered the question tonight why John McCain picked her and silenced all the critics! She made a great case about her experience and her philosophy on governing. Sarah Palin is going to be Barak Obama’s worst nightmare. She is more experienced and is far more ready to governor our country than Obama! For all those reporters that doubted her ability to me over the past few days, all I can say is that I TOLD YOU SO!!!!! The new rule in politics: Never underestimate Sarah Palin!

September 3rd, 2008 Where was that Fred Thompson? Fred Thompson did a great job last night. Where was that guy on the campaign trail??? His combination of humor and passion was a great way to kick-off the convention. As one former Republican State Representative said, “he is clearly more comfortable talking about John McCain than himself.” You can expect to see more of Fred Thompson as a McCain surrogate over the next 60 days.

September 3rd, 2008 Palin feeding frenzy
Don’t get me wrong. Tonight Sarah Palin is not only going to knock people’s socks off, but she is also going to prove how tough she is. However, the Palin feeding frenzy has been overzealous and somewhat inappropriate. Her children should be off limits just as President Bush’s daughters were given breathing room and Chelsea Clinton. All these attacks beg the question: Why? The first reason she is not a product of the DC political machine. Palin is an outsider. As Laura Bush said, “she is a breathe of fresh air.” The second reason is that she is a real conservative. Sarah Palin is no flip flopper. She is a person of integrity and her word. This scares the liberal media. The third reason I am sorry to report is due to sour grapes. As we know Governor Mitt Romney wanted to be John McCain’s running mate and has actively campaigned since losing the Presidential Primary for the number 2 spot. Yesterday, I heard unfortunate rumors that Romney’s staff were pushing these bad stories on Palin. I could not confirm until this morning. David Johnson of Strategic Vision spoke to an ABC producer who claimed that Romney staff were actively trying to damage Governor Palin. Although this is very disappointing, Sarah Palin is more than up to the task of handling this media crisis.

September 2nd, 2008 Shameful attacks will unfortunately go unpunished When you run for office, it is obvious that you jump into a fish bowl. You give up your privacy and you are attacked on your policy positions and life decisions. However, you don’t expect major media markets to report grossly false rumors. Last spring the New York Times published a phony rumor accusing Senator McCain of having an affair with a lobbyist. They were wrong and there were no repercussions for the Times. Over the weekend another major media outlet suggested that Governor Palin’s new son was actually her daughter’s baby. Governor supposedly faked a pregnancy to cover for her daughter. Come on! This is a new low in political media coverage and reporters should be suspended for spreading such lies. It does clearly shows that many media outlets should just be on the Obama payroll.

September 2nd, 2008 Monday’s Convention Winner… The buzz winner for last night’s convention was Governor Bobby Jindal. Everyone is completely impressed with his handling of the hurricane. No one can find any fault with him and he has certainly help the overall Republican image.

September 2nd, 2008 All the right people Last night all the right people we at the National Review Party. The guest list included author David Fodosso, Grover Norquist, former Senator Rick Santorum, Alaska Chairwoman of the Federation of Republican Women Paulette Simpson, and talk show host Michael Graham. Rep. Paul Loscocco, who is retiring from the Massachusetts House of Representatives, also attended. Why should you care? Back in March I strongly suggested that people start watching a future rising star — Governor Sarah Palin. Today I am making another prediction. Paul was one of only a few elected officials in Massachusetts who supported Senator McCain. If the Republican ticket wins in November, he will receive a high ranking post. Paul Loscocco’s political career is far from being over!!! You may see him in a few years emerge as a strong statewide candidate.

August 31st, 2008 NOW = DNC The National Organization for Women claims to be a leading group promoting women’s issues. You might think they would praise Senator McCain for his choice on a running mate. Nope! Governor Sarah Palin is not a left-wing liberal, so she is not good enough to break the glass ceiling in NOW’s opinion. Their lack of support for a conservative woman who has just broken such a huge barrier does a complete disservice to all women. Only liberal women count in their eyes. NOW should be proud that Republicans are going to nominate Sarah Palin for Vice President this week. She is a very accomplished woman who proves on a daily basis that she can handle both her work load and her family life. But that is not good enough for them. They claim that Palin will not speak for women because she is pro-life. NOW should get a clue that not all women are pro-abortion or liberal. Obviously this organization cannot see pass their hatred of Republicans and conservatives to recognize this historic moment for our gender. You have to conclude that NOW is a tool for the Democrat Party. In their press release criticizing Governor Palin, they suggest that Senator Biden is the candidate who appeals to women. Funny I thought he was a 65 year old man. I guess Joe Biden understands what it is like to be passed over for jobs because he wears a skirt. That’s right Joe Biden knows what is like to be told to get a cup of coffee because he was assumed to be in a non-managerial position. That’s right Joe Biden knows what it is like to be slapped on the butt and called honey. And I am sure that Joe Biden has been told to get out of politics because it is a man’s world. Clearly he is more of a woman than Sarah. Did Joe Biden break a barrier to get into the Senate? No, he replaced a man. On the other hand Governor Sarah Palin defeated a man to become the first female Governor in her state’s history. Governor Palin has reformed her state, got rid of wasteful spending, fought against corruption, and negotiated a tough agreement with the oil and gas industries while raising a family. It is time for NOW to either to change their name to the DNC or to get on board with an accomplished women who just exploded through the glass ceiling that existed for liberal and conservative women.

August 30th, 2008 4 million reasons why she is a winner Yesterday the McCain campaign raised $4 million online after the announcement of the Vice Presidential pick. It was their best day so far! Sarah Palin has energized the grassroots of the party, conservatives, women and donors. McCain has a winner on his hands!
